Description
The SC-300: Microsoft Identity & Access Administrator course will train you, as an IT professional, to design and manage identity management systems using Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD). Key activities include implementing secure authentication (MFA, Conditional Access), managing user/group identities, implementing identity management, and configuring application access.
Program
1. Implementing and managing user identities
- Microsoft Entra ID object management (users, groups).
- Configuring administrative units and settings for the entire tenant.
- Implementing and managing external identities (B2B/B2C).
- Handling Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR).
2. Implementing authentication and access management
- Implementing MFA, passwordless authentication methods, and authentication methods.
- Configuring conditional access policies.
- Manage user authentication settings and device settings.
- Implementing protection with Entra Identity Protection.
3. Planning and implementing workload identities
- Application registration management and service principles.
- Configuring permissions (API, delegated, applications).
- Implementing access management for applications.
4. Planning and implementing identity management
- Implementing privileged identity management (PIM) for groups and roles.
- Configuring access reviews.
- Identity lifecycle management, including access packages and terms of use
5. Hybrid identity solutions
- Implementing Azure AD Connect / Entra Connect Sync.
- Configure federation, pass-through authentication, and password hash synchronization.
